Itinerary

14 Jan - Day 1: Arrival- Chidiyatapu
 
Pick up the airport & check into the resort . Post lunch head out towards birding hotspot Chidiyatapu. After some evening birding, we will cover the nocturnal birds and return back to the resort. 

Birds to expect include Andaman Drogo; Andaman Coucal; Andaman Treepie; Andaman Cuckoodove; Andaman Bulbul; Andaman Shama; White headed starling; Fulvous breasted woodpecker; Long-tailed Parakeet; Olive backed sunbird; Pacific reef egret; Vernal Hanging Parrot; Andaman Flowerpecker; Andaman Hawk Owl; Andaman Scops Owl; Walden’s Scops Owl;Hume’s Hawk Owl; Andaman Nightjar etc.



15 Jan - Day 2: Birding around Shoal Bay

We will start very early morning drive (4.30 a.m) towards Shoal bay to reach the hotspot on time. We will spend the day birding around Kalatang and Shoal Bay Mangroves and return back in the evening. 

Birds to expect include:  Andaman Green Pigeon; Andaman Cuckooshrike; Andaman Woodpigeon; Andaman Serpent Eagle; Andaman Crake; Andaman Flowerpecker; Andaman Treepie; Ruddy Kingfisher; Blue-eared Kingfisher; Mangrove Whistler; White-breasted Woodswallow; Andaman Shama; Black Baza; Andaman Woodpecker; Andaman Cuckoodove; Long-tailed Parakeet, Andaman Woodpecker, Andaman Nightjar etc.


16 Jan- Day 3: Birding around Ograbranj/Sippighat Wetlands – Ferrargunj

At 5 a.m, we will be heading towards the Ograbraj Wetlands stopping at Sippighat wetlands. We will move to Ferrargunj to spot the endemic birds missed out on previous days. We will return back after
covering the nocturnal birds. 
Birds to expect include Andaman Teal; Collared Kingfisher; Stork-billed Kingfisher; Yellow Bittern; Cinnamon Bittern; Black Bittern; Chinese Pond Heron; Pacific Swallow; Violet Cuckoo; Pin-tail Snipe; Water cock; Edible-nest Swiftlet; Glossy Swiftlet; Terek Sandpiper;Ruddy breasted Crake; Chinese Egret; Black-naped Tern; Brown-backed Needletail; Red-throated Pipit; Andaman Barn Owl; Andaman Scops Owl; Andaman Nightjar; Andaman Hawk Owl.


17 Jan- Day 4: Birding inside Mt. Harriet National Park

On our last day, we will spend the day birding at Mt. Harriet National Park to cover the endemic birds missed out in the previous days.

18 Jan - Day 5: Departure

We will drop you the airport. The Andaman birding tour ends.

3 Nights & 4 Days  Andaman Sight seeing Tour

18 Jan -Day 1: Arrive at Port Blair  & Wandoor Sunset

Upon arrival at Port Blair around 12:40 p.m., pick up and check in at resort. At 3p.m, we will head towards Wandoor, A laid back beach 25kms from Port Blair with its gentle waves,white sand & a soothing sunset welcoming you to the Andamans. We will return to the infamous Cellular Jail to watch the Light & Show depicting the Island History.


19 Jan-Day 2: Port Blair-Cellular Jail-Ross Island-North Bay 

Next morning after breakfast, at 8.45 am, we will head towards the monument that made Andaman known as the “Kalapani”. The Cellular Jail,take a tour around the magnificent jail and return to the jail entrance by 10 a.m. Next stops of the tour are ferry rides away. At 10.30 am, a ferry will take you to Ross Island which served as the headquarters of British during the Indian penal settlement. After the Island tour, the ferry will later take you North Bay Lighthouse, popular place for witnessing the coral reefs & marine life. The place also offers a wide range of water sports activities viz.,SCUBA Diving,Snorkeling, Sea Walk, Jet Ski rides etc. By 4.30 pm, the ferry will bring you back to Port Blair from where we will take go back to our resort. 

20 Jan- Day 3: Port Blair-Havelock-Port Blair 

The journey starts early at 5.45 am to Havelock Island (36 nautical miles from Port Blair). You will embark on a ferry which takes approximately 2hrs to reach the Island. Upon arrival, we will head towards the famous Radhanagar Beach (among the top rated beach in Asia), a long stretch of white sand beach with its crystal clear waters. Spend the day in the beach making memories & buy souvenirs. At 4.30 pm.the return ferry will bring you back to Port Blair. Upon arrival at Port Blair, we will take go back to our resort. 

21 Jan-Day 4:Depart Port Blair. 

we will drop you at the Airport. Depart the Islands with memories that last a lifetime.  The Andaman tour ends.

Sightseeing Tour Fee : Rs. 20000/- (Ex Portblair)

Tour Fee Includes:
Twin sharing AC accommodation at Port Blair with 2* Resort , Ferry tickits to Havelock and back, Private ac vehicles for sight seeing only,   Entry Permits/Entry Tickets/Boat Tickets wherever required, complementary breakfast included.
