Come and explore the birding Paradise Tour Dates: Will be published soon Sattal is an interconnected group of seven freshwater lakes situated in the lower Himalayan range near Nainital, in Uttarakhand, India. The lakes sit at an altitude of 1370 metres and set amongst dense forests of oak and pine forest. It is heaven for birders due its rich avifaunal diversity. It has 500 species of resident and migratory birds.
